The Boathouse Floating Restaurant is the ultimate reception venue superbly located right on the Noosa River with panoramic water views. Spanning over 3 levels and floating on the beautiful Noosa River, The Boathouse can cater to any style of function, offering a selection of package options and venue locations to suit the most discerning needs.

river room

Located on our mid level the river room is one of the most unique venues on the Sunshine Coast. Offering light wide open spaces to capture and maximise the breathtaking 180 degree views of the Noosa River. This venue can comfortably accommodate up to 120 guests for a sit down occasion or up to 200 guests for a stand up cocktail style reception.

bridge bar

The Bridge Bar is situated on the top level of The Boathouse. With a balcony built off the room and spectacular sunset viewing this venue can cater to stand up cocktail reception for up to 60 to 80 guests.

eastern deck

Located in a lovely private area on the eastern side of our restaurant (right over the water) the eastern deck is great for intimate sit down style receptions of up to a maximum of 32 guests. The area is a covered outdoor area that works extremely well for a summer/spring reception.

Outlined below are some of our very popular menu package options to give you an idea of what is available. We are however very flexible and if you do have something different in mind please let us know as we are happy to provide a personalised package and quote based on your specific requirements.

main menu options

Premier - $69pp
A three course set menu a pre selection of one dish from our entrée, main & dessert menu options.

Deluxe - $79pp
A three course alternate serve menu a pre-selection of two dishes from our entrée, main & dessert menu to be served alternately.

Seafood Smorgasbord - $95pp
Our Smorgasbord will have the freshest available seafood and produce and an example of the inclusions are Oysters, local sand and spanner crabs, Mooloolaba prawns, New Zealand green lip mussels, Tasmanian smoked salmon, grilled reef fish, roast carvery, vegetables, salads and a selection of cakes and desserts.

Captain's Fare (Cocktail Functions) - $55pp
A pre-selection of two Noodle Boxes (one noodle box per person) plus a selection of four items from the hot & cold canapés menu all served over a three-hour period. Please note that this package is designed to replace an evening meal and is very substantial.
